Applications
Sodium hydride can be used for direct intercalation into C60, resulting in superconducting material (NaH)4C60. It is primarily used as a strong base in organic synthesis. It can be used to dry some organic solvents. It has been proposed for hydrogen storage for use in fuel cell vehicles.
