Safety Cabinets

Safety Cabinets

Cases and cupboards specifically designed for the safe storage of hazardous materials. Variously sized and shaped, constructed of appropriately durable materials, available as floor, wall-mountable, and countertop models, and may include shelves and/or drawers.

Hazardous materials storage cabinets help you organize and segregate dangerous liquids in your facility or laboratory and keep them close to the point of use for ready access. They also serve to maintain user awareness of the hazardous nature of the materials.

There are a variety of cabinet styles designed for specific uses:

Drum safety cabinets for flammables storage feature reinforced liquid-tight sump for spill containment. Rugged steel cabinets come in various styles and sizes to vertically or horizontally store 30- to 55-gallon (110 to 200L) drums.

Flammables cabinets are available in a range of styles, sizes, and colors. Look for brands that meet OSHA and NFPA 30 requirements and that are independently fire tested and FM approved.

Separate and identify combustibles with cabinets designed to store paint cans, aerosols, inks, and other combustibles. Choose models that meet OSHA and NFPA regulations and are independently fire tested and FM approved.

Specially designed cabinets for safely storing corrosives in laboratories include powder-coat finishes that resist acids, bases, and solvents. They come in a variety of sizes and configurations.

Safely and securely store pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, flammables, and other turf chemicals in cabinets that meet NFPA and OSHA regulations and are FM approved. Self-closing models are also available.

Some emergency response cabinets are fire resistant and feature adjustable shelves. They can also be powder-coated in “emergency orange” for high visibility.

Accessories like cabinet filters, additional shelves, locks, and SDS storage boxes are just a few of the products that can be added to enhance storage. Cabinets with self-closing doors, recessed bases, or that fit in small or narrow spaces are also available.
